Volunteers are the very heart of Red Sky. Without you we wouldn't have a festival.

Fancy yourself as a people person? Enjoy festivals but want to feel more involved? Then volunteering is for you!

Become the face of Red Sky and earn your ticket by volunteering.

Along with our event team you'll play an important role ensuring everyone attending has a safe and enjoyable experience.

Becoming a volunteer will also mean you gain exclusive access to our pre-festival party.

The Roles

Bar Staff

Work under the instruction of the Bar Manager(s) to serve drink orders, assist in re-stocking the bar and keep the bar area clean and tidy.

Event Steward

Check wristbands, answer questions and ensure everyone at the Festival is having a great and safe time. Help prepare the Festival site prior to opening, and at the end of the night.

Ticketing & Gate Steward

Greeting festival-goers upon arrival, checking and selling tickets at the gate and ensuring everyone is ready to have the best festival ever!

Traffic Marshall

Ensuring vehicles arrive and leave the Festival in a safe manner, checking parking passes and directing festival-goers to the entrance gate of the Festival.

Application Process

You'll be asked to complete a quick and simple form.
Once submitted we'll review your form and will be in conatct to tell you more about the role we think you'll be great at.

Prior to the festival you'll be sent full information about the weekend - including what to do when you arrive at the festival site.

The Reward

Each volunteer, in return for their hard work, will get...

- Free entry for the day or days you are on duty;

- Access to our exclusive pre-festival party on Fri 22nd;

- A free limited edition volunteer t-shirt;
- A food voucher or vouchers;
- Free camping if required;
- A great experience with the other volunteers and an opportunity to enjoy some really great music!

Who are we looking for?

As well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills for the public-facing roles, we require all our volunteers to be reliable, trustworthy and friendly, be able to work outdoors in all weathers, be committed to making the festival a success, and to have a flexible and pro-active approach. You do not need experience to be part of the team, but it can help with your registration. Jobs are allocated during the event and you may change job roles as the need arises.

Volunteers give their time freely. If you commit to a role, 100% attendance and application is required. All volunteers will be given access to, and will be expected to have read, the Event Rules, Event Plan, Event Travel Plan, Premises Licence, etc. We will ask for ID when you arrive at the festival, to verify your age and confirm your identity.
